Maria af von Hoff

The Maria af von Hoff is a almost original recreation of a Besanewer from Finkenwerder/ Elbe.

The Original named Maria HF 31 was built in 1880 by Sietas and was doing her job as a Fischewer on the River Elbe and the North-sea til 1950.
She is owned by the Deutsches Museum in Munich since 1957 and you can visit her as one of the main Atractions of the shipexibition.
She is documenting a time those ships are used with only three men under hardest conditions.
